How Important Is This Manuscript?
It's especially special to see one that we assume hasn't seen the light of day in over a hundred years. We have a record from 18 99 where the book was catalogued and recorded as having a french manuscript at the front. It doesn't necessarily give us many new details about story, other than a slightly cleaned up version of merlin's interaction with his lover vivienne am. So ar text doesn't tell us a great deal. There's a very minor detail which is different to other manuscripts. And i just love working with manuscripts. They're just such fascinating objects.
