The Importance of Sharing Vaccine Dosages
Around 720 million people have now had at least one vaccine dose. But there are huge disparities between countries with hardly anyone vaccinated in less wealthy countries. Rich countries focused on vaccinating the entire population as quickly as possible, rather than sharing vaccines via global vaccination scheme called COVAX. The US alone is more unused doses sitting on shelves than the entire global scheme.
