Is the SEC Going to Standardize Carbon Emissions?
The goal of the SEC is to protect their investors. And they want to be able to standardize more or less. You can think of it as accounting around climate. The mandate itself was introduced much earlier this year, unless it was late last year. It probably won't be officially decided upon until at the very earliest mid-to-late next year.
