Volunteer Engagement During the Pandemic
Sue Carter-Cale and Nathan Deeds talk about the state of volunteer engagement. They look at a survey done in 2003 that hadn't been updated or replicated in almost 20 years. What did change during the pandemic was fewer organizations who had nobody serving that role. The number of people volunteering is not rebounded, but retention rates are much higher now than they were prior to the crisis.
