A violin ad by antonio strataveri in 17 14, called the divenci ex sidel violin, sold at auction in june for 15 point nine million dollars. A medal commemorating general daniel morgan and his victory at the battle of cowpins during the american revolution has been sold at auction for almost a million dollars. Before the medal appear an auction, it was believed to be lost. Yet this metal was originally part of a series of a hundred and 33 medals called the cometa Americaana.
