For once you get past the for 30 minutes of Jake doing the narration table setting, this movie basically has 10 primary characters and we'll just shift between them," he says. "The magic trick of Cameron figuring out how to repeat the effect of story beats in new ways with new layers extends from first movie where it's like human shit in the first avatar." He adds that these are less of a showboat vibe than West End-style flop houses even though they're called 'Motherfucking Studs' The film also stars Cliff Curtis as the chief of the Metcayena reef people.
