The Importance of Family Resemblances

I think the idea that humans should strive to become Godlike is not found outside of New Age culture. The idea that there's no God and instead there should be a kind of aesthetics of the self, I think that is the culture we swim in. That also probably leads to an increased narcissism in general in Western culture. So I would agree with that.
