The Importance of Emotional Freedom
There's always authors who one had heard of but never really engaged with I'm reading a book by somebody called Vasily Grossman at the moment. It's kind of opened up for me a world that I wish I'd inhabited 20 or 30 years ago in order to understand some of the catastrophes that modernity is brought particularly to Eastern Europe. There's plenty of Shakespeare plays that I've never bothered to attend operas and Mozart's earlier operas there's so much in world culture Chinese poetry would open up the new world to me, he says.
