I think that maybe something that people maybe don't understand if they've never really piled on the huge endurance volumes is how tired you can potentially get. Mike Isertel in an interview about coaching, he says like, I think every coach should have to exceed their maximum recoverable volume for like a week just so they know how it feels. It doesn't help that I'm trying to lose a couple kilos. That really stymies the recovery. But yeah, I went to nine sets straight from six. It was not a good move.
