Video-Learning Scopes Improve Quality of View on the First Try
We had excellent adherence to the randomization assignment. 99% of patients in the direct-learning scope group received a direct-learningscope on the first attempt. A grade 1 view of most or all vocal cords was attained in 76% of patients and only 45% with video-learningoscopy. And I'll highlight that the video-learning scope used had a hyper-angulated blade shape in about 14%.
