Steve: Seattle has not done a good job of having of being affordable partly just because it became a very popular place to move in a pretty short amount of time. He says there are some limited successes like the land trust that owns and even builds housing which is extremely affordable. Steve: The industrial paradigm has actually led us to fragility, high expense and also to high costs for building things so we're going back to such simple stuff as stud sandwich walls.
