Don't Compare Your Beginning With Someone Else's Middle
I think a lot of us assume that you can just jump straight into a developer role. So my advice is definitely to start small first. And start small, you know it's okay if you don't land that role just yet. It's okay to take on a junior position first or what I did was I did a bunch of freelance gigs and I did part-time projects until I built up a portfolio totake on a bigger job.
