How Did You Become a Lighting Cameraman?
In those days, you had to join a studio and start as a tea boy. And so we shot everything in black and white. It was a great learning curve for me because I had very little lighting experience. So I started to learn something about lighting. That was my first sort of step towards getting onto the ladder of features.
