In Aristotle's theory of perception, the sense organ can't be in contact with a colored object. But we have to somehow or another assimilate where this isn't a material mode of assimilation,. The sens able form of the object. And so when you and i both look at the same red apple, the thought would be that you are perceiving that red and i 'm perceiving thatred.
