The Role of Husband and Wife in Our Marriage
There is clear teaching in Scripture that both husbands and wives submit to one another. How should we understand that exhortation in Scripture in light of the distinctive roles that God has given us? Yeah. So early in our marriage, we picked up a used copy of an old tome by a Puritan named William Goog. He says this somehow has to inform what the Apostle Paul is saying. There he sees a kind of mutuality, a concern for one another.
