The Orthodox Churches in Union
The Eastern Orthodox churches are generally in commune with each other. Most of them, however, are not in communion with the Catholic church from which they came. They have what they would call councils, but they're not ecumenical councils because there are members of the church who are not invited to participate officially. The Council of Florence was intended to be a reunion council 400 years after the definitive break from the Eastern churches.
