Is There a Collapse?
Dr. Jonathan Bieler: People often talk about collapse as if it's this thing that's going to affect us all at the same time with the exception of like the wealthy and the powerful who obviously have more of a cushion, but actually collapses asynchronous. And so to illustrate this, the next work is the film Menace to Society. The people whose lives are represented in this film might say something like collapse, shoot, we've been living through collapse since forever. So don't give me any of your collapse is going to happen nonsense. We have been living it and it's never stopped.
