The Role of Minority Women in the History of Socialism
I agree that especially under neoliberal economies you see exploitation of workers. a lot of contextual factors and you know it relates to their family situation as well like if they're supporting a spouse and is the partner exploiting his wife and so many layers to this but I think that's why you know your comparative frame is also so important. Can you give us some sense of where individuals particularly women and minorities pushed back and asserted their agency? You drawn a lot of insightful oral histories in your work mm-hmm that's thank you for this question because it is also soimportant to to think of minority and majority women under socialism not as victims but also as agents and the makers of their own history.
