Don't Be a Jerk to Your Investors
There are investors who will try to impress you with how much money they have. If someone's a jerk, leave, or say, hey, you're being an ass hole. Try giving feedback if that happens and see what happens. They're investors who will meet with you just to do diligence on you for one of their portfolio companies. This is usually pretty obvious because thy'll just ask you question after question after question about process and metrics. But no, don't worry, it's not really a competitive product. Wait a second. Just check to see if they are already invested in competitors and talk to them about it ahead of time.
