China's a Space Race

We'll have to wait at least a decade before the samples can be collected by another mission and return to earth. The chinese, first time, back in may, got a rover srong down on to the surface of mars. And that's been trundling around us. It's travelled just over a kilometer. Anything it discovers will be se ful. But really, just getting down safely as a technology demonstration is extraordinary for china. So there's a race, essentially. This is the new space race.
