The Critics of PBMs
PBM's work is through negotiating rebates that end up getting paid well after a patient has filled their drug. So, and unlike most other things we purchase when we talk about rebates, that doesn't go to the person who filled the drug. It goes to the drug companies, or sorry, from the drug companies to the PBM's and to the health plans.
