Theological Case for Alteration of Pronouns and Names

Father McDermack reached out to three theologians, the moral ethicist, Father James Keenan, S.J., Boston College and Gina Hens-Piazza, Ph.D,. He asked them whether they thought a Catholic theological case could be made for alteration of stated pronouns and names from the standpoint of their own discipline. One wonders why he talks about altering pronouns, names and bodies in one paragraph; then makes reference to altering pronouns and names but no reference to bodies. That is a very tall order.
