The German Government Watered Down Plans to Switch to Electric Vehicles
Germany has pushed the EU into a partial compromise over their 2035 target for phasing out petrol and diesel cars by allowing something called e-fills. The government seems to have watered down its own plans to switch the country to electric vehicles, doesn't it? "It's a little bit of fiddling to help the car companies," says Jim Boulden.
