jehad: There is an idea that ethmic tribalism is this primord force then that maybet is suppressed here and there a by liberal ideals or by universalist ideals. And i think you're saying that's a misunderstanding of the history, right? Iean usually you only have to dig back a few decades to find that the political and social arrangements that we now take for granted didn't use to prevail. Ah, and that indicates that they are not kind of eternal, but that they are the products of cultivation. Aah, you know, sometimes even coercion. We have to understand the forces that make these types of politics attractive at different pints.
