ED ECMO: In Hospital Cardiac Arrest?

The study that was published in Jack, Interventional Cardiology looked at the rescue in hospital cardiac arrest study. And what we found was that there were six variables that were associated with outcome. Five of them were not dynamic variables according to the resuscitation. One of them was whether or not the patient was a surgical patient or a medical patient. What time of day it was, patients who had their cardiac arrest during the day had a much, much better outcome than patients who had its cardiac arrest at night with eCPR.
