In a church who loves to focus on i would say, the gentle jesus, my hope was to write a short, punchy book that presented the rugged, rough, sacrificial, bold, intense side of jesus. And christian men need a vision for biblical masculinity. So we're going to see the proper pastoral posture toward god's people. We can all learn from the fer ancy and sincerity of paul's love and longing to be with the christians in Rome.
