The Relationship Between Women and Nature
Cobb was both an animal rights activist and a woman's rights activist. For Cobb and other activists, men not only treated both women and animals poorly, but thought of them in similar ways. Women saw themselves as closer to nature as well, except in a different way. They also felt a kinship with animals through emotion, or women's apparent innate ability to feel.
