Innez Holden - A Novel Review

Innez holden understood the tempting benality of mere coherence, and she went out of her way to avoid it. She navigates a drift of thoughts and impressions, not as a modernist's stream of consciousness, but as something more akin to a psychotic episode. All attempts at meaning seem like wild stabs in the dark. The neat, ethically conflicted thriller which orwell had in mind, has not advanced one jot by the time holden is finished. Cleverness, though, that might be a start.
