It almost seems like public deliberation might be too demanding a term that the public can really deliberate anything, she says. Jones: We'd have to ban Twitter, but so rhetoric, spouting and then what social media does is amplify rhetoric. But also, the speech people take is not simply virtue signaling; it's mere lip service.
