The Importance of Easter Sunday
The readings for this Easter Sunday are from the Acts of the Apostles. In Peter's post resurrection preaching, he serves as sort of a summary of all things. He proclaims Christ's resurrection and then what is happening through that resurrection. The second dimension is also a proclamation of what the Lord has accomplished but less so in a universal way. And with that, we will turn to our first reading for this Easter weekend.
