The Importance of Reading Modernist Literature

JAMA's soul says, when I'm reading a book by Franz Kafka, oh, that sounds depressing. You don't have to read modernist literature at all. There's so much great ancient. And you know, I don't know what the romantic and other styles or time periods of literature are better anyway. So it's your choice, your choice. If you like it, read it. If you don't, don't. Just don't be a slave to money. That's the key thing. Everybody needs money in our modern economy.
