Facilitation is the art of drawing out the group's intrinsic wisdom and then reflecting it back, presenting it back and letting them own it. I think at times in the facilitation world that ability to synthesize and then to record in the sense of here are the main things that you have said has been really missed. It's not expertise in consulting about the topic. It's bringing in an ability to listen here and then pull the nuggets out and say this is what I'm hearing of these what you are thinking. And to go with that quickly is the writing ability. There's not a lot of facilitation work going on.
