When a bishop attempts to merge two parishes or close a parish, the parishioners of the effective place have legal standing to make recourse. In this case, the diocesan bishop, in this case, I'm not sure where the process is for acquiring the recourse because there's no recourse to the act of their own punishment. There are no normative procedural norms about it. But I think what people are upset about, they weren't properly consulted in the diocese of stupidville. They're going to write letters to the Chicago Chansery. No, I think it's possible that soup and Tobin might though, it is possible.
