Alibaba's Spinoff of Its $12 Billion Cloud Business

Alibaba said it will explore initial public offerings for both its logistics and its grocery arms while at the same time spinning off its $12 billion cloud business. The spinoff of Alibaba's cloud division will happen within the next 12 months via a stock dividend distribution to shareholders. This announcement came after Baba reported single digit revenue growth for the third consecutive quarter.
