I think where I get concerned or I start asking questions is sometimes when we're angry, it's easier to stay angry. So how can we in those moments do our personal work so that I'm not projecting onto my kid, the ugly, the hard? Because I would guess if you're in the middle of that crisis point, your kid will say something that is beautiful and good that somehow helps you reimagine. And it makes you stop and pause or they ask you a question and then you're able to re-engage.
