Some people say the reason why I'm choosing open source project is because I want to avoid lock-in. Even open source can put you in a situation where you get locked out of moving forward, even if it is free and open source. So getting the higher level set of metrics, understanding the amount of error codes and things like that are returning rather than the individual log statements has been more important for me at this point.
