What Are Different Kinds of Radioactivity?
Alfa decay is the nucleus basically falling apart by emitting a piece that is two protons and two neutrons. That's one kind of decay. There's another kind that is not part of the standard classification, which is the nucleus just loses a neutron. And they're all different kinds of radioactivity.
