Is There a Balance in Productivity?
I would argue there's an awful lot of labor hoarding going on. If you're an employer and you find it very difficult to find that incremental employee that you think you might need in a year due to your growth, you're likely to hire them. On the other side, I would say, manufacturing has been one of the few places where we've seen significant optics in productivity over time. That changed very, very quickly at the start of this year.
