The Importance of Transspecies Supply Chain Justice
There's almost a sort of animistic belief in the life of trade here that I think is actually alive. And so then the argument that I'm making is that, you know, over the last 50 years with the introduction of these conservation and environmental strictures. They don't unseat that but they wind up kind of sitting within it. So how I suggest that we might sort of think against that is by proposing what I call transpecies supply chain justice. It allows us to kind of hold certain concerns that are often understood to be related but still sort of siloed which might be environment on one hand, labor, politics on another.
