Pete is most well known for rescuing Rafael in the Vondé globe. The rescue took two days as it transpired I had to beat back 160 miles in hurricane force conditions. Pete says he has been knocked down three times pretty much pitch pole a couple of times really really surviving and came down to this May Day.
