The Effects of Amyloid on Cognitive and Functional Decline in Alzheimer's Disease

Two new drugs have emerged in the treatment of Alzheimer's. The first lacanamab was approved by the Food and Drug Administration earlier this year after trial showed it moderately slowed rate of cognitive decline. This month, a global trial for another new drug, Durnanamab, also demonstrated it slowed the progression of early Alzheimer's disease.
