What Was It Like Serving in the Federal Reserve?
i can imagine you had to manage your time carefully to work through all those different responsibilities. Half my time was devoted to monetary policy, half to regulatory policy and half to the f s b. So i did make for some long days. But again, there was an ethos of kind of deep analysis and reflection and gettin to the right answer that was quite satisfying. Something i'm very glad is over.
