Jesus walks into town. Text tells us it's about the sixth hour. Women in that culture only drew water in the cool of the day which means early morning or in the evening. So why is this woman drawing water in the middle of the day? Well she ain't trying to see nobody. She's got a bad rep. Jesus reaches out to her. And the whole conversation takes place sitting down at Jacob's well. We'll talk about that next week.
