The Bizarreness of Observing Ramadan
The majority of muslin people in Taiwan are muslin Indonesian migrant workers. Shangsye has traveled to Malaysia and Indonesia where a lot of muslin living but didn't really have an experience to travel there during Ramadan. However she did attend celebration of Ramadan of the end of Ramadan actually in Taipei. Back then it was like five or six years ago and it took place in the open area in front of Taipei man's station. Which is a popular meeting point for many Indonesian workers.
