Corporate Profits

High corporat profits have not happened suddenly in the same way as they high oil prices have, or massive disruptions to global supply chains. These have been creeping up for some time now. And i think that one reason why we're seeing such anxiety from corpera executives about this narrative. It really tests the question of whether they will have to make some sacrifices if they're going to take as good care of their consumers as they do ther shareholders. I've spent a lot of my time in the last few years tracking this shift in the corporate mood and incorporate priorities.
