When you were a kid, getting in trouble meant several things. On a practical level, there was no adult that i can remember in my life who didn't want me not to be and every adult tried everything they could think of to get mea not to be this beautifully el g b tic. There is an author named kate bornstein who wrote a book called gender outlaw. And that book came out in 19 96. It's called gender outlaw on men, women and the rest of us. Came out in 1996. And i was on my way, going off to college, and that book changed my life.
