Vlogging Never Died

Colin and Smirky say that vlogging is back, but when did it supposedly go away? I have personally followed tons of vloggers since the beginning of COVID. What maybe not necessarily died but took a back seat was just the age of relationship-based creators. The days of people like Emma Chamberlain having videos that are titled "You Definitely Caught Me Making Soup" aren't going to get swept up in the algorithm.
