The Museum of Modern Architecture and Design
Museum of Architecture and Design in New York is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The exhibition features work by African-American architects, designers and artists from all over the world. It was conceived as a way to explore what had been left out of contemporary architectural practice. "I wanted to register these absences in different ways," says museum's director David Aje.
