The Effects of Low Attention Immersion on Programming

I'm sort of getting into this thing where even music is probably too distracting if you're trying to do something of value. And they've actually done studies about this now where it's not music without lyrics. It includes any noise. Any degree of noise at all makes it harder. So, if you're a programmer and you have low attention immersion in the background, that's just harmful basically for your focus. Basically, because you internally know that your shoulders should be paying attention to it if you want to get something out of it.
