The Different Forms of Synesthesia
In synesthesia, people have a blending of the senses. About 3% of the population will see a letter and that'll trigger a color experience for them on the inside. To a synesthet, their experience is precisely as real as anything you might experience. We're each having our own experiences in any given situation. And we think, yeah, this is reality - but it makes no sense at all.
